John Denver – at the board during a 1985 recording session at Amigo Studios in North Hollywood with Grammy Award winning engineer Roger Nichols, who was John’s producer and engineer for 20 years. Coincidentally, Nichols, also an airplane pilot and flying buddy of John’s, was on his way to California to fly with Denver in his new experimental Long-EZ plane when he learned of the crash that ended Denver's life in 1997.
